Position Summary

Responsible for the management, design, and deployment of our network and computer systems. Trusted partner to the business to consult on using our technology resources effectively. Provides exceptional service to staff, whether resolving customer service issues, communicating with third party service vendors, or executing IT processes and procedures. Ensures the security of company and client data.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • User, security group, and enforced policy administration in Active Directory, Group Policy, SCCM, and other system management tools.
  • Develop plans to update/upgrade/migrate applications and data on various systems.
  • Review security reports and alerts.
  • Maintain a variety of mission-critical systems including, but not exclusively AD, Office 365 apps, Lync/Skype for Business, SCCM, Zeacom call center software.
  • Coordinate with third-party support resources when necessary to efficiently complete projects and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance for all systems: server, client, and mobile.
  • Use SCCM and MDM to enforce software and security policies.
  • Maintain inventory of assets.
  • Assess viability and organizations need for new applications.
  • Test new applications for use in current environment.
  • Package applications for automated deployment via SCCM.
  • Automate and script as many repeatable tasks as possible.
  • Provide Tier II support for Help Desk issues.
  • Write documentation for both technical and end-user audiences.
  • Identify common issues, and proactively develop systems to prevent problems from recurring.
  • Mentor other Help Desk employees.
  • Cover user support as needed.
  • Available for on-call and occasional after-hours project work.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor?s degree required.
  • Minimum five (5) years of technology and/or application support in related technologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated customer service attitude.
  • Experience maintaining enterprise systems using the following technologies and methodologies: Windows Server operating systems, Office 365, Hypervisors and virtual machines (VMware preferred), Backup, restore, and disaster recovery, Incident management, Firewall administration (Fortinet preferred), System automation/Configuration Management tools (SCCM and/or Intune preferred), Cloud computing (Microsoft Azure preferred), VOIP phone systems (Lync preferred), and LAN, VLAN, & WLAN management.
  • Powershell experience, with a strong bias towards automation wherever possible.
  • Strong understanding of IT security best practices.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and develop resolutions to complex problems.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to follow directions, complete time-sensitive tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to document processes and procedures.
  • Microsoft certification, ITIL certification a plus.
  • Networking experience a plus.

 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
