Solution Specialist - Financial Planning - NetSuite Services

Intermediate-level consulting professional who has a general understanding of solutions or technology designs within a product/technology family. Works directly with Consulting sales to analyze customer business needs.
Performs standard duties and tasks with some oversight in order to design business solutions utilizing Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. Operates within defined policies and processes by applying Oracle methodology, company procedures, leading practices, and creativity to develop business solutions on moderately complex customer engagements. May assist in influencing customer leadership in acceptance of Oracle solutions and services to facilitate the closing of consulting deals. Builds a network and up-to-date specific industry or product knowledge.
2-5 years of experience relevant to this position including 1-2 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience. Some product, technology or industry expertise. Basic ability to craft and articulate strategic solutions. General knowledge of implementation methodologies and best practices. Knowledge of competitive & partner products, technology and solutions. Ability to travel as needed.

As part of the Consulting Solutions Group practice,the Solution Principal role is responsible for working jointly withthe Oracle NetSuite direct Sales and Account Management groups to providescoping, solutioning and estimation of the Professional Services effortrequired for new sales opportunities. The Solution Principal will also be responsible for working directlywith customers to document and validate their business requirements inbudgeting, forecasting and reporting, and map them to NetSuite ERP and OraclePlanning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) functionalities.
The Solution Principal is also responsible forpresenting and delivery of the final Statement of Work (SOW) for theProfessional Services to implement the products sold. Although the initialcustomer requirements are obtained by the Sales team, the SolutionPrincipal may from time to work with the Sales team during the initialdiscovery and demo process to ensure that the prospect s requirements are fullyunderstood and included in the implementation SOW.
Responsibilities include:
Partner with a team of sales representatives and SolutionsConsultants in the specific Vertical to validate in and out of scoperequirements and assist with solutioning as necessary
Collaborate with Practice Vertical Leads, Practice Directorsand Practice Managers to determine best approach to Professional Serviceofferings based on prospect and scope
Manage and prioritize Professional Services opportunities
Create Statements of Work and develop cost estimates forProfessional Services efforts
Manage and prioritize requests from both Direct and AccountManagement teams
Maintain Professional Services Engagement Record updateswithin our internal sales force automation system to manage and prioritizeProfessional Services sales opportunities
Develop, deliver and sell high-impact Professional ServicesValue Proposition
Participate in pricing and Statement of Work presentationsto prospective customers to present and discuss contents of an SOW
Provide explanations to prospects for questions regardingSOWs and Oracle NetSuite offerings
Negotiate with prospects regarding inclusions/exclusions inthe scope of the SOW and update pricing accordingly
Serves as sales technical support on Oracle NetSuite and PBCSopportunities.
Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of datarequires evaluation of numerous factors
Demonstrates experience in translating customer businessrequirements into workable business solutions, either as a software solution ora re-engineering initiative
Knowledge transfer to the Professional Servicesimplementation team
Ability to acquire and maintain an understanding of OracleNetSuite and Oracle EPM products
Assisting clients with mapping their budget & prioritiesto the scope and deployment strategy
Preferred Qualifications/Skills include:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance orBusiness Management
1 year of relevant professional experience.
1 year of consulting or system administration experiencein NetSuite ERP or other similar systems
Experience with Oracle PBCS Cloud is a benefit
Financial planning and analysis or corporate financeexperience a plus
Experience working with sales teams, ideally in a servicesand/or product pre-sales role
Experience preparing and presenting solution valuepropositions
Experience creating Statements of Work and cost estimates
Strong customer and negotiation skills
Strong customer relationship acumen and consulting skills
Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
Experience successfully delivering presentations via webconferencing
Excellent understanding of common industry standard businesspractices as related to core ERP processes
Financial application package experience, plus a goodunderstanding of accounting principles
Experience in full cycle implementations of CRM, ERP andeCommerce applications desirable
NetSuite platform experience strongly preferred, howevercompeting offerings may be considered
Demonstrated experience in translating customer businessrequirements into workable world class business solutions, either as a softwaresolution or a re-engineering initiative

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
