Summary:
Highly analytical in capacity, this role will develop and own the business intelligence roadmap for Follett Wholesale.
This role will enable Follett to better procure the right products, for the right customers, at the right time by providing actionable and fact-based insights to key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will also develop an expertise in operational excellence within Follett and will use that knowledge to develop and measure activities leading to process improvements and efficiencies.
This position is also responsible for creating, automating, and delivering a weekly Key Performance Indicators (KPI) presentation attended by Senior Management.
Responsibilities:
Drive results through KPI tracking and reporting via oversight of data analytics.
Responsible for the development of customer level P&L's and product P&L's to uncover where opportunities to improve may exist.
Develops inventory demand and procurement analysis across all functional areas:
retail, wholesale, virtual and rental and provides co-dependent business groups with actionable insights needed to drive operational results.
Partner with IT and finance to develop dashboards that integrate all inventory systems so Follett can better understand inventory across all segments what is required to purchase from a strategic sourcing perspective and improve margins through better pricing and allocation schemes.
Develop an allocation strategy to maximize revenue and profitability.
Develop optimal sell price strategy with competitive positioning by channel, for sales, rentals and acquisition and optimal unit allocation to channels.
Annual and pre-term sales and inventory forecasting.
Reviews macro level inventory levels.
Reduce inventory investment while meeting sales and margin goals.
Understand and model how supply and demand affects our inventory, sales and margins to make better decisions in pricing and allocation.
Structure forecasting models so Follett can acquire the right titles at a lower cost and proper quantities.
Evaluate and model new business opportunities within programs and products.
Model the mix of products as we transition between print sale and rent to digital sale, rent or license and profitability driven by business intelligence and analytics.
Job Requirements 7-10 years of experience in Inventory management, business intelligence reporting and analytics, course materials or similar backgroundBachelor degree or equivalent Highly proficient in advanced analytical skills with demonstrated ability to provide actionable insights to make business decisions Strong technical aptitude with tools including:
SQL, Tableau, MS Office (especially Excel & Access)Excellent communication and partnership skillsAdvanced Office Computer Skills Travel requirement is less than 10%.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
