Waterlogic's leading markets are the USA, Australia and Western Europe, in particular Scandinavia, Germany and France. Of the 2.1 million new POU and bottled water installations in the commercial market in the USA and Europe between 2005 and 2012, approximately 77% incorporated POU technology, of which approximately 29% were Waterlogic products.


Waterlogic is a truly global organization and is at an exciting phase in its lifecycle. In order to improve the efficiency of their current operations, develop a more competitive position going forward and therefore to achieve its plans, we are looking to add an Area Sales Manager in the Chicago area. Waterlogic believes that this position has the potential to add considerable value to a top 3 market in the U.S.

Principal Accountabilities; You are tenacious and resourceful with a high level of energy and an entrepreneurial mindset. While setting high standards, you are able to change tactics on the fly and develop and maintain strong business relationships. For you, challenges are not unmovable obstacles, but achievable chances to make a difference. You're results oriented, always seeking the most innovative and efficient methods of performing simultaneous tasks. Utilizing these qualities you will achieve success as you perform the following Responsibilities:
Assign and monitor sales goals and provide ongoing training to keep employees informed of new products, services and procedures
Conduct weekly meetings / conference calls with direct reports and Sales leadership
Attend customer meetings with team and train effective consultative selling strategies by demonstrating sales techniques
As part of our environment of training and development of all employees, conduct ride-alongs with Account Executives and complete associated documentation
Be accountable for maintaining their personal sales quotas, confirming their performance as "Selling Sales Managers"
Develop, train and coach sales team to produce desired high performance results
Make decisions regarding hiring, and disciplinary actions in order to maintain a fully and productive staffed sales team
Be accountable for the achievement of the teams monthly quota
Assess individuals and team performance and initiate developmental plans to narrow competency gaps
Develop strategies that best leverage the markets in your region, as well as maintain high team motivation remotely

At least three years' experience managing a team in a solution sales environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
Ability to understand an analyze reports and performance metrics
Knowledge of basic desktop applications (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer/Firefox, etc.)
Willingness to travel within assigned region and as required by management
Must have reliable transportation
Experience managing in a multiple location/market setting is preferred
Self-starter, capable of working independently with a drive to succeed and a knack for team building and motivation
Proven track record of successful employee development
Excellent analytical and time management skills
Successful track record of increased sales performance in a service / B2B environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
