Responsibilities:
As an Audit Associate, you will be an integral part of our Audit team.
You will be assisting the experienced Auditors in the examination of financial statements, internal controls and accounting systems.
Your responsibilities will include:
Participating in audit planning and risk assessment activitiesConducting substantive testing and analytical procedures on client financial informationDocumenting audit work and findings in accordance with firm standardsCollaborating with team members, including Managers and Partners, to complete audit engagements within established timeframesAssisting in the preparation of audit reports and recommendations for clientsContributing to the continuous improvement of audit processes and methodologies
Qualifications:
Accounting degree with the academic qualifications to sit for the CPA exam (generally 120 hours minimum) or 2 years public accounting experienceStrong academic record with a solid understanding of accounting principlesPrior public Accounting work or internship experience is desirableExcellentanalytical and technical skillsProficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant softwareDetail-oriented with a commitment to accuracyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsMust have reliable transportation in order to drive to client locations for audit assignments.
Local travel will be required and out-of-town travel may be required at times
