is a national concessions business with locations throughout the United States.
The Grove is seeking a Full-Time Payroll Clerk to work in the Human Resource Department located at the corporate office in Westchester, IL.
The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for all of the biweekly functions of payroll and other duties required in the department.
Payroll Responsibilities include:
Process the biweekly payroll processing cycle for 700
employees including field and corporate employees.
Learn the export and import process of hours from two different time keeping systems.
Learn and become familiar with the union payroll rules related to payroll.
Process bonus payroll quarterly, annually, etc.
Process 3rd party sick pay Audit payroll records prior to transmitting.
Transmit and receive payroll.
Sort payroll and prepare packages for each location.
Create various payroll reports and distribute them to departments.
Other payroll responsibilities as required.
HR Responsibilities include:
Learn and take over monthly health benefit eligibility for line staff.
Report all workers' compensation claims and follow through with claims until closed.
Respond to all employment verifications, payroll verifications, etc.
Office filing.
Other duties include:
Assist the VP of HR and HR Generalist with a wide variety of human resources projects as needed.
Build relationships with field managers and become a helpful resource to the field.
Become the backup to the HR Generalist Other HR responsibilities as needed.
Job Requirements and Additional Skills Required:
Must have at least 2 years of payroll experience and experience working with union payroll.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook Must be able to maintain extreme confidentiality.
Must exhibit a positive can do attitude.
Must be able to effectively meet deadlines.
Must have strong attention to detail skills.
Must possess strong accuracy skills.
Must have excellent written and verbal skills.
Must be honest, dependable, respectful of others and carry high ethical standards.
Must have a customer focused mindset.
Must be a team player.
