Product Manager

Essentra has an immediate opening for a Product Manager to join our Product Management team.
As a Product Manager you will be responsible for an assigned group of product categories, managing all aspects of the product life cycle with a significant emphasis on NPI (new product implementation), product data management, pricing support, category marketing efforts, product training, promotion and overall go to market strategies.

Product Line Ownership:
Drive New Product Introductions; including significant creation and maintenance of product data, while coordinating with internal stakeholders that will be impacted and involved in a full NPI launch to the market.
Focus on gaining market share and new business growth; ensure lines capitalize on abilities to cross sell and that commercial teams understand the potential.
Manage the life cycle of the product lines; adding, removing, and adjusting lines as required.
Decision making based on data and commercial & market knowledge.
Product Data Expertise:
Provide information and technical support for existing and new product groups to display on digital platforms to provide the customer a hassle-free experience, train and support commercial teams.
Work regularly with the global Web Data Team to update and maintain product attributes (descriptions, benefits, drawings, etc.
) and ensure accuracy of web product data.
Expand attributes to improve the customers experience as a standard practice.
Marketing & Training Support:
Drive development and provide expertise for PPC, Catalogs, E-mails, Mailers and Mini logs for existing and NPI products for marketing projects.
Work with marketing on internal and external communications related to existing and new products plans.
Lead the product training of commercial teams via LMS, virtual or live product training sessions.
Required Experience 2
years of Commercial /Sales experience ideally with B2B customers Be a detail oriented individual Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and utilize data to drive sound decisions.
Thus needs to be proficient and confident in Excel and other data management platforms Ability to manage projects and work through challenges to completion.
Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities in a fast-paced environment.
